Wow, Why Did This Happen?

Thank you ever so much, Phillipines.  Give the insurgents what they want, and they'll go away?  Yeah,  that worked great.  I know that a human life was at stake, but you just gave them fuel for their fire.  A whole nation should not allow themselves to be swayed by a handful of idiots.  Yes, you got your man back.  That is great.  But now they've gone and done it again.  How many of these countries are going to cave in, and in doing so, strengthen the insurgents resolve?
